Quite right! I work from home part of the week and at an office two days. I’m more productive at home and can be flexible with my hours. Sure, I end up working more hours than I would in an office but at least I don’t waste time travelling.
I’ve never understood why the government wants to improve transport (roads, trains etc) when there is less need for much of the population to travel to work these days – a phone and internet connection is all that is required. Let’s see tax breaks for home working!
This is probably the single best video you have done yet! You are loose, relaxed, smiling, laughing, and you kept it short and to the point! Great job!
I’ve been working from home for a few years now and it has totally ruined me for anything else. I love being able to work out on my patio, take walks around the neighborhood on breaks, and work when I choose.

You’re hilarious! You forgot the plus of having a “casual Friday” everyday…aka work in your pjs whenever the mood hits you I’ll be making my home office in the next 2-3 weeks when I migrate back up north. Looking forward to it too.
I tried the slippers approach when I first quit my job but I found it put me in the wrong mindset. So now I get dressed up like if I were actually going to work. I’ve found it also helps me to focus.
I would suggest if you’re working from home you also try and meet up with other entrepreneurs as well.
For example, last week I went to lunch with Neil Patel from QuickSprout.com and tonight I’m going to an event on raising capital from angel investors. It’s nice not only because it gets me out of the house but the networking benefits are tremendous as well. It helps that I live in Seattle I suppose, but even smaller cities have events that are worth attending I’m sure.
Old Man Slippers? lol I agree. I love working from home. You don’t have to care how you look, you just get the job done. I set myself a goal to do, break for coffee, then work some more… it’s a cycle throughout the day. Works well. If I could put a fridge on one side and a coffee pot on the other, I’d also be glued to the chair.
I’d like to add that it would be better if one worked in a room that is separate from the area he’d sleep at night. I noticed that I tend to feel sleepy and get tired easily during a time when I tried working in my bedroom.

I work from my master bedroom, the bathroom is right here close, the bed is close for a quick afternoon power nap, and I am secluded from all the other activities going on in the house.
After I move to a bigger place this summer, I hope to have a separate “office”, but my little cabin in the mountains is so secluded and has nice views…

The ability to work from home, wherever home may be, is something that far too many people never get to experience. I’m so glad that I’ve also gotten to the point in my life where I don’t have to do the whole “daily grind” and sit chained to a desk all day and I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself too! Thanks for the video.
