The Devil Was a Blogger, God is an InfoPreneur
It’s no secret I proclaim from the roof tops I am an Infopreneur, TheInfoPreneur. In I’m an Infopreneur, who wants a fight I talk about Infopreneurs being the new breed and in Infopreneurs succeed where Bloggers fail I talk about the difference between bloggers and infopreneurs when it comes to business. In this post I would like to re-inforce the point about the way you need to approach your site if you want more than your friends to read it.
FYI I am not a religous person as such, and this post is not meant to cause any ill feeling.

The Bible is the biggest selling product of all time, the Codex Gigas (Devils Bible) became extinct hundreds of years ago. PR will convince people that you’re the one to follow and not some guy with horns.
Just take a minute to think and listen to what I am really saying, when something amazing happened it was a gift from God but when there was a complete famine it was ‘God Moves in mysterious ways…’ I mean come on he could do no wrong!
The devil was/is (which ever way you look at it) a pretty cool character, great knowledge, great power but he sucked at getting people to like him! The last thing you want as a website owner is to only have a cult following that is considered weird by the rest of the world.
‘The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist’ If your website is a devil and you have convinced the world you don’t exist then you really need to re-think the whole horns and flaming hot magma!

God, in what ever form he/she exists has an amazing following. As I said the bible is the biggest selling product of all time. People who follow God do so in a variety of ways. Some pray constantly, others at special occasions while some only turn to god when they’re in trouble. Either way if God had their own website or twitter account it would be the biggest in the world.
You need a diverse following. You need the die hards, the social visitors and the ones that only come to you when they’re stuck. The devil on the other hand has a very small following in comparison, is that because his/her word is not as valid or as wise? No it’s because the majority of the world is convinced the devil does not exist!

I find your metaphor to be a pretty good one! As many people know, but few people remember, perception is reality! So, you need to create the right presence to attract what you want, and social media and other contemporary tools, give you even more power to create the impression you want to create.

This is pretty good. I think it’s a very appropriate time to say this as it couldn’t be a better post in my opinion.
I’ve commented more on this blog than most others. What really attracts me to this blog is the following which I feel should be mentioned:
1. You work smart to make this a success.
You put in time whenever possible and stick to your word. You also are a real, down to earth individual with a real job (outside of this) and you have a family and still manage to do this. You also don’t put others down if they chose not to do what you’re doing and above all, you don’t complain.
2. You’re very creative.
Your titles are what attract me mostly. I see the title of your blog post on TweetDeck and just have to click on the link to find out what you’ve had to say next. Your words behind the title fit in well and make a great story and they always are friendly, short and to the point, and add value to MY life at least.
3. You stand your ground.
You pretty much reply to every comment on here and are very friendly about it. If/when someone may say something you don’t like you still turn it around in an open and positive manner which shows a lot about you (responding to them in the first place) and you keep at it.
4. You get it.
I don’t feel I need to explain much here but I’ll say something short. A lot of bloggers talk about what it takes to blog and spend countless hours trying to find the next big product they can buy that will “get them rich tomorrow”. I have a problem with this, not because people shouldn’t buy those products. That’s how those people make their money, obviously. I like reading PDFs and I love reading what someone has to say because they have their own writing style and I will probably learn something from them.
You do what you do and it works. You keep at it. You make it work for you and still stay open minded.
I hope this comment isn’t too long as I’m sure comments probably shouldn’t be too long just as they shouldn’t be too short but I really wanted to say all this and it just kind of hit me at once after being a reader of your blog on a daily basis.
