My Plan for 2010
It’s getting to that time of year when you reflect on the past and look forward to the future. I have always been open about my plans for the future of this site, because I think it could help my readers and it’s great motivation to stick to them. So here it is, my plan for 2010;
- 730 Posts
By year end 2010 I will have posted 730 posts to the site. That’s not total, that’s 730 posts just for 2010. 2 posts a day for a year. Why the high figure? Partly because I’m obsessed with providing help to the readers of this site and secondly, I want this site to be a valuable resource for anyone who is looking for success in their business whether it be online or off.
730 posts is a massive undertaking, one that will hopefully be helped by guest posts, but considering after only 7 weeks (8 weeks tomorrow) since the site was first set up I have published 96 posts, I think it is more than achievable. Completion date December 31st 2010
- Membership site
Big plans for this one and something I am already working on. Without giving too much away it will be a collective of like minded infopreneurs. It will be limited to a set number to ensure quality and integrity of the site. Those who want to join when the site is at capacity will be put on a waiting list and informed when a space becomes available. By charging a monthly subscription it should help reduce the amount of spammers trying to join and ensure the people who are joining are motivated and committed to the site and it’s members.
My reason for setting up a membership site to run along side this site is to create a group of super motivated infopreneurs, who really are dedicated to their own business and each others. If you are interested in this just subscribed to my news letter to get advanced notice. Launch date April 2010
- Pod casts
I’ve wanted to start doing this for a while and want to be able to develop the amount of readers (and listeners) I can speak too. By producing a daily pod cast I will be able to add more personality to the site and add value to the reader. I plan on doing an audio version of my posts followed by an audio only post. I may supplement the pod cast with a matching vlog too, both of which will give the followers of this site to see what I have got to say. Start date March 2010
- Guest speaking
I love public speaking, although my only experience of this was training soldiers in the military, but I still think I would love speaking at a business/success orientated event. Motivating people into taking action is something I have a particular passion for and love to see the transformation in people who, after years of doing nothing, have taken action. First event by November 2010
- The InfoPreneur network
I first mentioned this here, it’s still something I work on when I get time. This is going to be launched well after the membership site is up and running, but it’s going to be the ultimate solution for infopreneurs and business owners alike. Again without giving too much away it will be a start to finish solution, maximising traffic, conversion rates and the freedom to share tips with other members. Ad networks, shopping carts, social media, SEO all intrigual to the network. Launch date September 2010
Hopefully this will help if your lacking a bit of focus in where you should go in 2010.

If you can achieve two posts per day for a year and keep the quality high, that’s awesome.
You’ve some lofty goals, but it’s great that you are confident of achieving them. Good to see you’re “Crushing It”.

You are right, the goals are fantasticly high, but achievable.
The reason I have set them so high is to ensure I’m in a place I have dreamed of being in by the end of 2010, before my 30th birthday!
Damn, that’s a lot of posts! I only do 1 every 2 days, so doing 2 per day seems like such a massive challenge. As for the others, I can’t wait. The membership was something I was interested in doing myself, but it’s so competitive if you’re just doing a general blogging one that, with the time I have, it probably wouldn’t be worth it.
Also, when you find an event, let me know please! I know we’re located pretty close to each other, so if it’s close to you then it’d be close to me, and I’d love to attend!
Still, best of luck with all of this, I know I’ll be staying tuned and tracking your progress

Love how you’re sharing your goals for your blog in 2010. I’m bookmarking this as a motivational post for myself personally as I need to knuckle down in 2010 and make a livable income through working online.
It’s always been my dream to work for myself and I’ve allocated a year to do so, otherwise it’s back to the corporate world ‘working for the man’ for me.
Am following your blog and look forward to seeing your process.
To a great 2010!
