My New Mentor Is…..

I’ve been following David Risley, Nathan Hangen, Robb Sutton etc for some time now, but recently I started to think who do these guys follow? What’s next how can I leap frog the 6 figure guys and learn from the 7 and 8 figure guys?

I have learnt one of the biggest marketing lessons from this guy too, his name is ……;

OK seriously you need to go and check Jeff Johnson out, my link will ask you to opt in, but this is premium free content and it’s absolutely worth it. I have never seen this amount of content totally free before and not only that but it’s a real game changer.

It’s the only time I have literally sat and watched a whole video from start to finish and thought he should be charging for this, one of his videos is nearly an hour long from a seminar he spoke at, in which the people at that seminar paid thousands of dollars to attend.

If you don’t want to opt in you can check his youtube channel here, in fact do that before you opt in, then at least you know what you are going to get.

I now am in the mind set of building a huge empire that will provide massive residual income, but it takes effort and time. Let’s be clear about this, Jeff isn’t going to give you a magic pill and in the morning you will be sat on a million dollar business, but by following his advice, just like I am, you have all the right ingredients.

Again yeah this is an affiliate link, but you won’t be asked to buy anything, simply opt in to get access to his stuff. If in the future you decide you want to buy something from Jeff then great, but first just try and soak up the amount of knowledge this guy has to offer for free.

I’ve shared with my mailing list about the importance of building lists etc, Jeff is the sole reason why I find mailing lists so important and why you should too.

You can opt out when ever you want, just check his stuff out, it will be the best thing you have done today.

But as I said I know you might want to check him out first before you hand over your email address, so again check his youtube channel out and decide for yourself.

Again I can’t stress how much this guy has changed the way I think, and again please if you don’t feel comfortable opting in, something I can completely understand check his youtube channel out first and decide for yourself.

I think the most important lesson out of all this is that I couldn’t see the biggest players in the online marker because I was so focused on my closest targets, but by focusing on the guys at the very top I now have the right mind set to take it to the next level.

I’m on his list but haven’t really dipped my toes in the pool of all he’s offering because I am pretty well up to my chin with learning from David and Leo right now. I definitely will be going through Jeff’s materials in time, however. This business (like any other) is about continually learning, applying knowledge, and learning some more.

  2. James, this guy is so enthusiastic! It’s difficutl not to get carried along with it, but, and I could be showing my ignorance here, he’s from a bunch of internet marketers who give me the heebie jeebies.

I worry when I see quick talking slick people telling me how they earned hundreds of thousands and telling me that I could too.

Much of what he has to say about links and SEO appears to fit with what I know, but when he keeps going on about massive free traffic he gives a broad overview but doesn’t quite pin it down.

For some reason I can’t quite make the leap of faith with him. What am I missing? What was it you saw that I didn’t?

    Cheers
    Dave

Perhaps the difference is simply you never heard of him? When someone who has a blog presence like David Risley (whats with all the davids?) you develop a level of trust because David has built up preeminence for his space.

      • Hi David, it could be that. This is the first time I’ve heard of JJ but I have heard of Kern and Reese though – and perhaps they’re a giant leap away from where I am or where I’ll ever be, but there’s something about the way they operate that turns me off. I can’t quite pin it down and perhaps I should look into what they do a little more, but that’s the feeling I have right now.

I’d pretty much dismissed that end of IM but James posting this today has made me sit up and listen again and question whether there’s more to it. I suppose that supports exactly what you’ve just said.

If I had my way, everyone would be called Dave :)

        • Hey Dave do you think it’s because they push affiliates quite hard that puts you off?

          • I’ve got nothing to back this up, but my feeling is these guys are pretty indiscriminate. I feel they’d say almost anything to make a sale. Do you know what I mean?

I’m not convinced they even care what they’re selling, just as long as they’re selling. With regard to his own products, a couple of times I heard JJ say his stuff is not for newbies, but it’s the newbies who’ll buy in to it, tempted by the prospect of the lifestyle he rams home.

Plus it takes him so damn long to get to the ‘golden nugget’ the rest of the time I feel I’m being brainwashed. :D

I could be so badly wrong about these guys but I look forward to seeing how you get on with it. I might believe it then! :)

          • Hey man yeah I understand that.

I’ve actually just written a post about it right now which will come out tomorrow.

He is one hell of a marketer, but that’s what I’m learning from him as well as all the other stuff about feeding sites building lists etc.

          • Anne says:

I’m with you on that, Dave. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that what works for me may not work for someone else and vice versa. Anyone who tells you it’s easy to make money online is suspicious in my eyes.

    • Hey Dave,

Yeah agreed I can see why it can feel like that, that’s what I was like really.

But I decided to look at how he was doing it, how he approaches his business, how he builds it and how he conducts himself.

James, I checked out this stuff. If I found him on my own, he would have 30 seconds of my time. Since you recommended it, I spent a half hour on this. It took a full 20 minutes to get to the first piece of real information. He is throwing $$$ at you, and sounds like those MLM courses I used to read in college when I believed in getting rich today.
I don’t need to hear how much you can make, anybody can say anything. I just have so much more respect for guys like Risley, who only throws $$$ at you once a month in his report, for popular request, not for bragging.
This Jeff guy is just a bullshit artist, and maybe he knows something I don’t, but I guess he is not the one I will learn it from.
Honestly man, I just feel like I should have played with the kids this morning instead of listening to this crap.

    • Hey brother,

Yeah I get what you mean about the shock and awe factor on the $$ signs.

      Now I’m asking this seriously because I want to know;

What didn’t you like about it, was the fact he pushes opt in so hard?

Or did you already know this kind of approach?

Here’s where I stand on it, I listen to what he is saying, not the amount he made, but how he made it, how to encourage affiliates to sell better for you, how to be a better marketer etc.

      What do you think brother?

      • Tom says:

Honestly, I don’t know how he does it. I gave him a half hour and he couldn’t get to the point, and I don’t have that kind of time. No, I’m not that busy, but I have seen this several times that we are not getting anywhere with those lectures. If he has something to say, say it.
I don’t have a problem with the opt-in. I did sign up, straight from your page, because I wanted to check it out. Remember my post about the mailing lists? I want good, useful information to flood my inbox. But after listening to Jeff for a half hour I just unsubscribed, because he didn’t convince me that he will send me useful stuff.
Again, I don’t want to say what he is doing is no good, because I didn’t get to check it out.
But just go to any sites who teach you the real deal. Well, go to your own for that matter. Within a half hour, you will find useful content and information to convince you that it is worth coming back.

You should fly to Underground Seminar next year, dude. Jeff was there. He comes to some of the big IM conferences. He knows his stuff. Definitely huge in affiliate marketing.

  5. Dave Doolin says:

    Hi James,

I personally don’t care for his style, but I’m very careful not to confuse the message with the messenger, right?

And I like other people who might rub your regular readers the wrong way, so it evens out.
.-= Dave Doolin´s last blog ..When is Spam so Bad it’s Good? (When it’s Saturday Morning Surfing, that’s when) =-.

    • EXACTLY Dave you got it spot on, it’s the message not the messenger, he could be the worlds most boring person, but it’s the message that’s important.

  6. Haven’t hear about him before but it looks like he offers a lot of valuable information. Not sure whether I will sign up though.

  7. Been following him for 2 years now and don’t have a complaint. He’s just doing his thing the best way he knows how.

We can all learn something from these guys. Watch what they do, now what they say.

  8. This is awesome! I opted in, what the heck there’s nothing to lose and if you recommend him then he has to be a good source of info.

Where do you find the time!?!

  9. Awesome.. ! I just opted in, and will be checking out the info..

    Thanks !! James !!
