This will be quick…It’s a Rant. I don’t have them too often. I’m easy going…have a lot to do today, but sometimes you just need to get stuff off your chest.
Are you a Giver, or a Taker?
This world would be so much a better place if everyone were givers. Do you give of yourself unconditionally? Do you try to serve others? Have you ever had one little thing set you off? Do the rest of us a favor…go out and contribute to the world today…by being a giver.
What do Taker’s Do?
If I ever have a product recommended to me by somebody, affiliate link, or whatever, I am generally thankful for them letting me know. I’m happy they brought it to my attention and if they get paid…GREAT!
Let me ask you smart, intelligent internet marketers… We can all identify a non-cloaked affiliate links right?
You know the ones that have “affid”, “jv”, “aff”, id=123456, etc, in the url.
..Have you ever stripped off the affiliate code, so the person wouldn’t get a commission? intentionally?….even if it’s $10…for some reason…you would rather see somebody else get that money….even if that person gives to you daily, has given to you in the past (maybe they promoted for you, maybe they’ve helped you to make money, maybe they have given their time, who knows) would give to you in the future….you decide to stick it to them.
People can tell me they hate me, people can tell me my products are horrid, people can tell me to get lost on my website…WHATEVER.
Allow me to help you today, to help you make money you rightfully deserve in the future. Cloak your affiliate links. You can tell them right there…”this is a cloaked affiliate link”…but if they want to see what you are promoting….they will have to click through your cloaked link and won’t have the opportunity to just delete some numbers and digits and enter through the domain name (naked link) just so you don’t get paid any money.
I guess sometimes when you realize it….it just rips your heart out. Sometimes it is the little things that hurt the most…especially if you know who it is. I know this post is probably scattered…but don’t have much time. I just know I’ll feel better giving all of you this advice.
Anyway, here is to hoping my day rights itself. Getting ready to go camping for tonight. Will be back on board sometime this weekend. I’m feeling better already. How nice it is to have a venting avenue in blogging.

Yes, this is the major thing that kept me up until 4AM last night. I was having many philosophical/self-reflecting moments. I never lose sleep. I am easy going and fall asleep in literally 30 seconds once my head hits the pillow. This has had a profound impact on me. I don’t know to where…but I just know it has.

I guess it all boils down to the fact that some people will forever be “takers”. They think the world owes THEM something and will do whatever they can to take advantage of them.
All we can do as individuals is do our best to make the world a better place. And take steps like cloaking affiliate id’s and locking doors to remove just a little temptation from there foul hearts.
Eventually the Karma train will roll around.

I’m feeling better. It’s amazing how just writing your frustrations out makes you feel better. You know…it wasn’t even a big deal. It was like a $10 deal. It’s the thoughts and meanings and hurt behind it all that just really disappointed me and left me hurt.
I’m over it and back into money making mode.

That’s a good point. I know people don’t like to think other people are making money out of them, even though it makes no difference to them. I don’t understand it, but if that’s how people want to be, then so be it.
As Steve, says the bad Karma will run out or alternatively that source of great free stuff will cease to be because the site owner packs it because they aren’t making any money…
