Admit You Can’t Do It And Create Your Own Market

I’m a dumb ass I openly admit it, I’m actually quite proud of it and my background. To me coming into this market 6 months ago with no prior training or education means I’m coming in on my own style and I’m learning everyday, admit you can’t do something then learn how to do it;

    well said, James

If you don’t know how to retweet a post, lol, I was cracking up hearing that one. And you’re so right – most people pretend to be someone else – a perfect person that knows it all – but people don’t want fake, corporate style professionalism, they want authentic people like me and you.

Clueless is my middle name :) The list of things about blogging that freak me out is still a mile long, but every day I learn something new. My blog is pretty much built for people like me who start out knowing next-to-nothing but get a little smarter about things every day. Being real, learning, and helping each other out is what blogging and life are all about. That and coffee.

There are a lot of sites that cover the same topic as you, and a people can go to any of those sites and get the information you offer. So why do we come here, and why do we look forward to seeing a new post from you? It’s your personality. You’re so damn likable.

If you tried to act more professional or if you showed off how smart and successful you are, it might impress a few people, but it would cover up your true personality. By being honest and open, you let your personality come across, and that is your secret weapon.

    • hey Russell thanks brother, exactly right being me is the easiest thing I have to do. Ultimately being you reduces the competition to yourself and that’s an easy one to win!

Ha – I love this. I wonder if you are going to get 200 comments from people telling you what they don’t know. I hope that is the case anyway.

Today I will write a list of my (known) weaknesses. It is time to ADMIT IT.

Also, is the girl in the photo trying to escape through the window? What do you have going on?

I absolutely agree. It remind me of a saying a real estate investing mentor taught me…”You can be right or you can be rich” That saying can apply to about 1million different topics, but in this case, if people just take their weaknesses, and understand they aren’t right, they can be rich in the process. Some people though, just choose to never focus on their downfalls, admit when they are wrong, or could do something better and flub it up.

    • Yeah exactly right, A lot of people actually fail because they gloss over their weaknesses, when in actually fact if they admitted them, they would stand out in the already over populated crowd

  6. Being your self in business is critical. When you have a blog that contains your own voice, that’s why people keep coming back for more. If they want more dumbass give them more dumbass.

That’s the big thing that newbie bloggers don’t get. They go out there and try to copy what the big guys are doing, with the same look and content as they have. Pretty soon, there are just a bunch of cloned blogs out there and no one has time to read all that.

    Keep doing what your doing.

    • Exactly brother, a stack of clones out there, it’s why people say don’t get into blogging about blogging, truth is as long as you’re being you then you can do and achieve anything you want, thanks for the support man

  8. Great advice. This is exactly what I’m doing right now. I’m working on a blog launch that basically says “I don’t know how to do this” lol. But when you see WHAT I’m doing… You’ll totally understand. It’s a new idea. A new concept. It should be quite fun. And the best part about it… I’m staying in my own niche! :)

  9. I think this is a very important point for the masses to grasp. There is a market out there of people who can’t do something. They want to see someone who has conquered the and overcome the challenge. And if we admit that we can’t do something and not only overcome the challenge but show others how to do it then we’re providing great value.

    Thanks for sharing!!

I have. Admitted how I feel about men and relationships, maybe i’m on a vengence burning from a love is the worst it is worse than death I believe because death is so final and being in love forever doesn’t go away, I for one am still struggling with that but as I write about it, I make it known to others in hopes that someone will want to read and venture to read with me. Thanks James. I love how you let others say it is what they want to say no matter what, negative or positive.
