Ok, the written text of this will be short.  There are TWO Videos on this post.  I’d like you to watch both, but more importantly…watch the one BELOW.

This could be the most important post you will watch this month.  Time is expensive and talk is cheap, so let’s get to it:

  1. That was a truly outstanding video! I’m so glad you’ve shared it with us. It makes so much sense – that’s what makes some people more influential than others. It’s the inspiration part that does it! Sometimes I wonder why my brain is so slow to figure these things out :)

    • I know Kiesha, some people make understanding this stuff so intuitive…they kind of take the Brendon Burchard method …synthesize, systematize, and syndicate if I remember, and really bring stuff across clearly to people.

      I guess it drives home the point of not even thinking so much on what OUR “why’s” are, but the “why’s” of our customers and readers.

  2. I put the post up this morning and watched your vid. It wasn’t until late this afternoon that I finally had 18 minutes to watch the video. I rarely watch video. But WOW what an awesome find and share!

    I was enthralled to say the least. After it was over and sat down and re-wrote my about page. It now answers the why…

    Thanks, excellent stuff. I’ve heard it before many times but Simon’s presentation just nailed it for me.

    • Hey Yolanda I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was a little longer than I can typically sit down for, but for good stuff…I make time. I’m glad you did. It DEFINITELY gets me thinking, you know. Where and what is our purpose. Awesome that it got the gears churning for you and taking action. THAT is what pushes me onward.

      Yeah, some of the guys I watched talking about it…one of them had watched it twice the day before also (and they are big IM’ers). :) It’s good stuff and makes you stop and think.

    • Hey Jason,
      You definitely have your why figured out. You have clear and concise reasons why you need to replace your income with your pending job loss. Now, figure out how to translate that why, into other people’s why’s. I think that is really the true connector. Figuring out your readers/consumers/buyer’s “why’s” and helping them connect dot A to dot B.
