Mission: Create 8 New Information Products over the next 8 weeks.
Topics: Have about 1/2 of them picked out so far….TOP SECRET.
Why? I’m getting into kick-butt content creation/partnering/interviewing others/interviewing me/seminar-land mode. I’m going to make 2011 my most successful Ever. I feel it in my bones. Have you ever felt that you were on a journey, not knowing for certain how/why it was going to look a certain way, or even how you were going to get there, but you knew you were on a path. Obstacles were being planted to help obscure your view. Setbacks being presented to keep you focused, etc.
There aren’t any excuses that will be good enough.
I sort of put together a rough outline of my weekly agenda.
By Sunday Evening – Outline completed for the new Information Product
Monday – Complete Video Shoot
Tuesday – Edit Video/Strip audio, Send out for Transcription
Wednesday - Backend (product delivery, autoresponder integration, setup download/membership area)
Thursday – Edit transcriptions / Worksheets, etc.
Friday - Finalize and Sales Page
Saturday – Brainstorm product for following week.
I’ve set myself up bad for this week, as I’m knee deep in a couple consultation/design projects. But you know what…I don’t care if I only get 3 hours of sleep for 2 nights…I’m staying on track and will roll out a product next Monday.
Bottom Line, I know I need to have some products/a product that is more of a high priced product so I can setup some interviews with people in the near future. Hold some webinars, and provide the host some affiliate sales, etc, but I haven’t been committed to myself to getting it done. That’s going to change. I’ve been working on streamlining some of my stuff a bit….and think I have a pretty good boiler at this point.

I do like your approach. I aim to create a number of products myself this year – my aim is one per month.
So far I am on target (just!).
I do like someone kicking my butt – helps me focus.

Hey Andrew,
The more I see the game, it’s about creating community, creating great content, creating your own products and services to sell, and partnering.
While I may not hit 8 products….I’m going to do my darndest to try….but I won’t sacrifice my product quality just to hit a number, while I run my offline biz.
Ahhhh…..stay focused! It will be an awesome ride.

Hi Brandon,
Some goals you have set yourself. I want to see you document your progress here LOL
Having goals and sticking to them is where so many fall down. After this week, I will be re-evaluating mine.
Need to take the Blogging Genius to the next level.Products are in the plan but later this year, few goals to reach first.

Hey Pete,
Yeah, putting myself out there…I may not hit it, but you’ll never reach the stars if you don’t shoot for the moon, eh?
RE: Blogging genius to the next level….if you don’t have a product…offer a service. I’m telling you…make income from it somehow, someway.
Hey Brandon
I like how you have used your blog to make yourself accountable.
Sounds like you are a man on a mission, my goals are slightly less ambitious than yours but still important to me obviously.

Yeah…bit of a challenge to myself…and yeah…will be providing updates here to keep everyone up to date.
But, more importantly want to keep working on great content…both free and for sale.
Take care and Rock the House!

Hey Brandon,
Goals, dreams and desires …… that’s what keeps the world turning. Go easy my friend. No need to become road-kill on the information super highway!
