Flexsqueeze Theme Review

The Flexsqueeze Official Site

My Flexsqueeze Bonus

Recently, we upgraded the theme on TheInfoPreneur.net to utilize, what in my opinion, is the easiest and best wordpress theme for beginners and experts, alike.  The Theme of my choice is Flexsqueeze.

Now, I have used, and use, Thesis, Ithemes, etc. and I can tell you so far, the most user friendly, versatile, and simple to use has been flexsqueeze.

I am going to provide a thorough review of the theme.  A video will also be used to demonstrate many of the graphics choices.

Being a Christian, it has always been difficult for me to support Thesis from the get-go.  When their default save button is named “The Big A** Save Button”, it is just a big turnoff for me.  Then, when it takes me 15 minutes to learn how to change the text on it, that shouldn’t be.  So, I’ve ditched them.

I have been using Flexibility free versions and paid Flexsqueeze versions for 2 years.  The premium Flexsqueeze theme is something I put off for 1 year in the name of being too cheap to spring for the paid version.  Hindsight is always 20/20, and my only regret was that I didn’t purchase Flexsqueeze sooner.  I hope you enjoy the review.  The Video below shows a lot of the graphics choices that comes with Flexsqueeze…for FREE.

Easy to Use Theme Control Panel

As you can see, there are easy to navigate tabs which allow YOU to easily change many things.  I want to highlight a few of my favorites.

Top Feature

You can easily add a Top Feature area and promote your own information products, or others.  Youtube videos are able to be embedded in about 15 seconds for a very nice, overall appearance.

Blog Layout Quickchange

You can easily change the overall appearance of the blog widths/heights, the header height, post/and page layouts, etc.  This feature is easy to find, and easy to modify.

Easy Header Modifications

If you would like to create your own custom header, congratulations!  It just does not get any easier.  I have a custom made header on this site.  I used Xheader to create an image the side of the header that I designated.  I then imported 1 picture, changed some colors, added some text, and uploaded the file.  I then enter the URL of the new header into the Header Tab and it is finished.

Import/Export Settings

This is an absolute time saver, especially if you are into building niche websites, and build many of them.  I have a certain style that I have setup that I really like.  I exported the settings (an Excel CVS file), and then can simply import it to my new theme.  It retains the footer information, menu and navigation styles, header choices, etc.  It is an awesome time saver for niche site marketing!

Default Blog and Text Colors and Fonts

It can be a huge pain changing colors, default font sizes, and text colors on many theme platforms.  Not so with Flexsqueeze.  It is very simple, and I can review my changes FAST.

*** The Best Reason – Quick Squeeze Pages ***

I’m not very HTML affluent.  You do not need to be in order to make some great looking sales pages, and squeeze pages utilizing the Flexsqueeze theme.  It is done for you.  This includes a wide assortment of graphic choices, and colors, along with a TON of extra graphics, buttons, markers, testimonial cutouts, etc.  I will demonstrate these in more in the video below.

Analytics/Adsense

In just a few clicks, you can have your site running Google adsense, and also tracking your tracking your visitors using Google Analytics.

How can Flexsqueeze Squash Myths of

Some Affiliate Marketing Myths That Completely Aren’t True

The Flexsqueeze WordPress Theme can help you in your Affiliate marketing Endeavors. Affiliate marketing has you puzzled? Don’t let it get you down; you aren’t the only one. Numerous new affiliates are confused by the misinformation that they find, thus making it difficult to tell what is right. In this article we will be discussing a few such myths surrounding affiliate marketing.
Ryan Grabenstein’s creation, Flexsqueeze allows for quick and easy site manipulation, sales pages, and resources for your WordPress blog.
One of the largest misconceptions about affiliate marketing is that it only takes a few banner codes on your website for the money to start piling up in your mailbox. If only it was as easy as that. But an affiliate marketer that is smart is hip to the fact that more work is required. It is known that affiliate marketing is the real deal and you can earn a lot of cash.

But it is a lot harder than what you may have heard. Many affiliate providers want you to just place the banner on your website, but this will only make you money if you have numerous targeted visitors. As an affiliate marketer, you will have to constantly put in a lot of effort and test various marketing methods. All the way from pay per click campaigns to driving traffic, you must make an effort to determine what brings the most success. You’ll need to test out and experiment various methods in order to reach out to the right audience and really understand the essence of affiliate marketing. There is plenty of competition in all niches, so you have to do more than use simple strategies.

Another common affiliate marketing lie is that you can’t be successful because of the competition. Yes, there are a few niche markets where there is tons of competition, but that also means that there is opportunity in there. Besides that, there are a number of niche markets where there is low number of competitors. If you truly want to be successful, you must be willing to deal with the competition so that you can see affiliate marketing in its real light.

Many mistake affiliate marketing to be some sort of a scammy activity or a way to spam. This myth got its start when a few bad characters used affiliate marketing in nefarious ways to try and make it big quickly, and thus we all received a tarnished reputation. This doesn’t affect the way affiliate marketing is done, and that’s because it’s a legitimate way of offering products and finding leads online. If you hear anyone say that it’s a waste of your effort and your hard earned cash to get into affiliate marketing, just ignore that person. What you’ll want to do instead is take the time to learn about affiliate marketing and how you can make it work.

Now that you know these myths, your opinion of affiliate marketing has likely changed, and you’ll be ready to make a change in your life and earn more money than you ever have before.

I actually don’t mind Thesis myself but I know there are some other great themes out there for those who don’t find Thesis useful or right for them.

I feel you’ve done a good job redesigning the site and are doing good bringing it to a whole new level.

Keep up the good work here, Brandon.

    • Hey Eric,
Thanks for the words. Thesis is a great, clean site…no doubt about it. I do like that it can do some pretty complex layouts, and still keep the “boggle” to a minimum. I just find Flexsqueeze very easy to work with I guess.

thanks for dropping by. how is the little one doing? :)

  2. Pretty cool. very different good job….i love changing every once in a while it put people on their toes…like for instance; I changed my user name and everyone was wondering….aka its PurpleBEffect now looking4purpose….how is James? I miss his smile and his videos….tell him big hugs for him…thanks.

    • Hey Purple Butterfly,

It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve heard from James. I know he was still plugging and chugging.
Back to the name change…so are you looking for purpose? :) I like the name. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve struggled in my life with my purpose.

Part of life I guess is to relook at ourselves. My grammy passed away on Sunday, and we finished burying her today. It was tough. She was a great woman. She definitely had a purpose in life.

  3. Hey Brandon,

    Quite a change, Brandon.
The site looks great. This flexsqueeze theme seems to be quite versatile. I’ve been considering a theme other than Thesis for another project, may give this a whirl.

    Thanks for the inside look.

    • Hey Jimi,
thanks. I haven’t rolled out the feature bar yet. I’ve had my hands so full for the time being, but it has a really nice, and easy to change feature bar that goes across the top under the header.
If you are doing any type of niche sites…flexsqueeze rocks.

Talk to you soon. I am also going to add a bonus here shortly if anyone buys through my links. More on that soon.

  5. I’m a Flex owner myself and am greatly looking forward to putting it into action.

The funny thing in my mind is, Flex IS what Thesis claimed to be but isn’t…..no programming/coding skills needed. ;)

    • Hah! Hey Dennis, I can’t say one way or the other about Thesis claims. All I know, is I walked into the Thesis theme when I took over TIP…and after 2 weeks of hating every second of changes to the site, just decided to keep it plain vanilla. It is about 10X harder to use than Flexsqueeze.
Again, don’t get me wrong…I still think thesis is a nice clean layout, and I do like having the ability to have two sidebars down sides, and area down middle. Other than that…it’s got nothing on Flex.

Glad we’re on the same page. :) Take care and have a good one Dennis.

Very interesting your comment about Thesis’s “Big A** Save Button”. I thought, as a Christian myself, I was the only one put off by that.

That happens to be one of the first things that made me hesitate buying the thing when I first seriously considered it.

Sure, the text can be changed. And, sure, a lot of people will think that I’m probably weird (or worse) for letting such a little thing bother me. But it goes further than this.

I’ve noticed that marketers in the past generally had neat, professional (yet personable) copy. Every word had meaning and those words were used to maximum effect. Some of the more famous copywriters made a fortune writing copy. They did not usually feel the need to appeal to our inner caveman.

Nowadays… it is common to see bloggers and Internet marketers using vulgar, profane, gutter language, a whole lot worse than the Thesis Save button. Why the dumbing down of language? Do words not mean anything anymore? Do they feel they need to roll in the ditch in order to appeal to us? All I know is that marketers are getting worse about this and I, for one, do not buy their products. These marketers have lots of competition and I can find the products I need without having to wade through the jungle of trash talk. If I do decide to buy Flexsqeeze, I will get it through your site.

    • Ron,
Thank you for your great comments here.
I agree with you…don’t get me wrong…I’m not perfect, but if I can keep this stuff from invading my mind, dumbing me down, and poisoning my mind that this stuff is Ok, and it’s accepted, then I’m in trouble.

Look at this way as a publisher…some people use the cursing to be cool, to emphasize a point, or whatever. It actually attracts a certain “clientele” I guess. However, for me personally, it’s not my style and it turns me off. If you ever have a choice between proving a point, and garnering trust from people, or proving a point, and ticking people off with your language or words…then choose the first. It’s just a better road to take.

I hope Rex Ryan and the Jets miss the playoffs this year, and I was glad to see Tony Dungy have a talk with him. :)
      Will it change him? No.

PS…I’ve been in the same boat as Rex, straight out of Infantry school, I took over an RD for a 400 person residence building. I’m sad to say I used vulgarity to express certain things to the students there…what I would tolerate, and what I wouldn’t. I came back to my roots and know I should have handled stuff differently at that time, but back then, I just couldn’t see it. Now, i do.
PS. Thanks for getting through my link when you do. I’ve given out quite a few bonuses this past week from the flexsqueeze review. Hope you get one in the mail soon, also.
      ;)

I also use both themes and I don’t care what anyone says, Flexsqueeze is the best by far. People keep saying that Thesis has good support. That’s true, but that’s because they need it as people don’t understand how to get it’s full potential out of it.

Flexsqueeze also has good support but their forum isn’t as active. What does that tell you?

Hah! love the forum isn’t active hint…

I’ve had some conversations via email with Ryan, the creator of Flexsqueeze….great, no-nonsense guy. He’s a one man show folks. For a one man gig, he does some amazing stuff and puts out great products.
