May 31st Seems Like it was Yesterday

May 31st marks the date that James made his announcement to all of you that he, unfortunately, would not be able to continue at the helm of TheInfoPreneur.

Just to give all of you an update, it has been nearly a week since James and I have conversed via email.  I do know the last week, or so, prior to our last communication, things were getting pretty rough.  I don’t know if any of you pray, but if you do, please keep James, and his family in your prayers.  I’m certain he could use them during these times.  His traveling to see specialists was getting rigorous and medications were definitely preventing him from performing to any normal type of capacity.

His situation also leads into my next venture here at the InfoPreneur.  It is my hope that all of you will see the good in it, and work towards supporting it the best you can.  I don’t know exactly how it is going to look, but by this time next week, it should be taking shape with great detail.

I just want to take a couple minutes and review my past month.  It oftentimes seems like we spin our wheels, and don’t really get anywhere, both in life, and with our online activities.  I know there have been some days when I just didn’t accomplish nearly as much as I’d hoped.  But, when I look back and realize that I’m nearly 1 month into this, I think I can feel pretty proud of some of the goals that I’ve accomplished.  I’m not saying that to pat my back.  It is just rewarding to see progress, when sometimes I feel like I don’t make progress on my goals.

1)  I thank all of you loyal readers, for helping to encourage me, and continue to stick by me while I straighten the ship out.

2) We completed a changeover of the entire hosting for this site, and the forum.  Domains have also been transferred.

3) Several TIP Team members have chosen alternative paths, and they have been replaced by Alex, and Chris.  Both of whom bring great skills to the table.

4) Instant WordPress Training, TheInfoPreneur style, has been launched.  It’s a great tool for me to be able to direct new InfoPreneurs to.

5) TIP Traffic Nuke is now live.  It took me awhile to get around to this, but time finally afforded itself to getting it launched.

6) My plans are in the works for the next stage of TheInfoPreneur, and then I also have some really cool thoughts on where to from there.

7) Once this next phase is underway, I’ll also be starting up my offline stuff.  I’m really looking forward to that, and I’m sure a ton of the stuff I’ll be learning will be straightaway beneficial to you guys as well.  Best part is…It’s ALL based on being an InfoPreneur…right down to my heart and soul.  I love it!

Last, but certainly not least, let’s all wish Matthew Needham a BIG congratulations.  Baby Sam entered our beautiful world on Monday weighing in at 9.9 pounds!  Congrats Matthew and family!

His post is ready to go for Wednesday early in the morning.  I’ll be camping in the deep woods on Tuesday night with the family (I’m preparing this post Monday night).  Again, I thank all of you for so much support…the great tweets, the encouraging emails, etc.  It has been tough, and yes, my mind drifts off to hoping James is doing well.  Yes, I miss his stuff also.  But, I’m going to do my absolute best to get golden information in your hands to help you be successful.  You guys all take care.  I’ll be posting a bit Tuesday AM, and then probably be back Wednesday around Lunch.

Talk soon,

Brandon

  3. Brandon,

Wow, you’ve come such a long way in such a short time, and with new products coming out etc. I wish you the best of luck. The infopreneur is turning out to becoming a great site. There is such a solid sense of community here, really great stuff.

  5. Good job on keeping the projects going. But when I read about James and his condition it just sadens me. It’s painful and it makes it tough to come back to this site. :(

    • Richard…I feel the pain…hopefully not to the point you don’t want to come back to the site. We all need to buckle down, realize we have a man down, get him to cover and safety, and then continue the missions we have been assigned.

      Talk soon,
      Brandon

You are doing a fantastic job in my eyes Brandon. Of course no one can replace James but that is what makes him unique. My prayers are with him and his family. Keep us updated if possible on how he is doing if you hear anything else.
