Blogging Tip – Why Time Is One Of Our Most Important Assets

Eric

So, why is time an important asset to any blogger exactly? Simple. Time is what makes or breaks a blogger, as I said above.

Let me explain what I mean and why I feel this way.

When I first started blogging I found it was something fun to do and a great way to meet new people and build great relationships. I soon discovered Yaro’s blog and Darren Rowse and David Risley and realised that there’s money that can be made here. I just had no clue how to make money.

I then found that providing valueable products to people whom time has allowed a relationship to grow upon is what works. It took me months to figure this out and it’s not the time that matters but what you learn and who you become in that time.

Time is something none of us ever have enough of but can do great things with if we start doing and quit making excuses about.

I personally am working hard to make my time count as a blogger with the more I learn and am able to provide to others who are working towards similar goals as I am. Every blogger has a chance to be great if they put in the right effort with the time they are given.

So… what asset has time’s valuable importance provided you to accomplish?

  3. Really good post! I agree totally. Time is one of the most important things you can learn to manage in your life. A lot of people ignore it and end up wasting time on random stuff and then complaining that they don’t have enough time for things they want/need to do. Thanks for posting about this!

      You’re spot on, Darren!

If we use our time wisely instead of wasting it then we’ll actually have something to show off later on down the road instead of excuses about not having had enough time when get to that point.

Use time wisely and in time great things will happen.

  4. Every hour you spend on your blog, surfing or tweeting, has to count. You need a plan or you’ll be chasing your tail and never achieve anything.

    Matt,

I believe you summed my article up into two sentences lol. You make a great point: stay focus and know where you’re going so that you’re not just wasting valuable time.

    Thanks! :)

Many bloggers might think they have to take so much time getting out there and doing what needs done but if you learn quick and build up relationships and go the extra mile, time is a great tool that will do many favors for you.

      Thanks for the comment! :)

  7. The very real limits of how much time we each have are one of the major reasons I am such a huge fan of our DoFollow CommentLuv KeywordLuv community, the BloggerLuv site and our private blog collaboration. Each of these allows us to quickly share what we learn with each other and support each other’s efforts.

  8. Hi Eric,
Time is indeed important. However, tools, environment, health, education and a whole host of other personal resources come into play so that you may wisely use and expect a profitable return on the expenditure of your time.

It’s great to see you over here Eric! The InfoPreneur.net is a better place now that you have joined the team.
