Recently, thanks to a free, hosted blogging platform, I was able to profit $4,000 on a home flip. The “blogosphere” can open up entirely new worlds to InfoPreneurs who learn to exploit it like mad men (& women, of course).
In this example, the seller of a property (who lived over 200 miles away) found me through my blog. We struck a deal, I found a buyer, and profits were borne from a stupid, free blog. Get your name out there in your niche. Good things can happen!

I’ve discovered that blogging can open up offline doors that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Most of my profits come from blog consulting I do with local business owners – it all started because someone saw my blog and started asking me for advice. When that advice worked they came back and told me, I should do that for a living – who knew?

Yeah, we absolutely can’t forget about the offline world. I think it is equally as large as online…if not a larger potential source of income. I think a key though, if you want to rock it hard, is to have a marketing budget for the offline adventures. Most of the offline world profits seem to come through marketing and networking.

That is excellent Brandon! The ability to communicate via blogs, video, etc. that the Internet allows for is incredible and highly useful…if you use it.
For work, I do some video conferencing with people who I would never be able to see/communicate effectively with otherwise.

Hey Wilson, glad you enjoyed. Actually, I was recording that video on my way from one I’m buying. Closes 6/18. Worth about $110K Fixed up. Needs about $32K in repairs…picking up for $33K. I think I’m just going to wholesale that one also…$45K maybe. Try to make a quick $8-$10k and keep focused here on TIP.
I’m actually working on that video right now and getting ready to put in on my “homes for sale and rent” blog shortly.

Awesome deal. I guess it really is true that you just never know where your blog will take you. It just shows that money can be made everywhere.
Sometimes my head just feels like it’s going to explode trying to think of all the opportunities that are going to be coming the road in the future. The future is very bright online, and those of us taking up arms right now, will be ready for the fight.
