Nice! Here is what I took from your video: Be different or you will end up the same as everyone else. Take chances every now and again. Being comfortable and safe feels nice, but you must derail now and again to see what you are really capable of. I liked this post, keep up with the good video posts!

Hey James

So true! The world around us tries to place us on tracks of conformity. We can all end up being railroaded with out knowing it. Each one of us should stand back and take a view on where we are going, what we want to achieve and brainstorm ways to achieve it.

Keep up the the good work.

Jimmy I ain’t buying it……….. Sold a few did ya.. well that’s all good.. but you know what.. being Parallel is great, and setting goals as in Parallel is what you need to do. You don’t need to vary from them and zig zag all over the place as you say.. your leading in a misdirection brother..
It’s OK to go like a train and be Paralllel.. I see a train as shooting straight and strong when reaching it’s destination.

Lee sold a few of what? I think we are saying the same thing here Lee but if a different way, Going straight and strong is right, but what I am saying is step out of that comforth zone and grow stronger so you can go harder. It’s cool that you disagree that’s what life is all about

Here’s what I took in from this video: I have been on that same path for about 1 1/2 year now, and I know exactly what you mean, It was getting me no where, I was in a comfort zone, I was living someone else’s path not my own. I have been so afraid to go out and experiment and socialize, fear that someone would think I was unworthy and now know it is just silly. The heck with what people think or say, I am going to do what I want, when I want and with whom I want.

James you are right. You definitely have to leave your comfort zone. If you are always comfortable then you will get nowhere in the end. Leaving your comfort zone means to grow.

Hi James,

Thanks for the video. I am 3 days old, and have no idea how I got here. I started looking on the net to research daytrading , and one click lead to another… I can’t even see that train from here.
I look forward to watching, and reading some more of your work.

I’ll be honest, I couldn’t agree with this post more and for a few reasons:

(In no particular order)
1. I’m a person who is too used to being safe and I need to experience some discomfort in my life just a bit. Not hurt, which I’ve experience greatly in the last year but just getting out and not playing it safe.

2. I am definitely not in the mind set of following the crowd by any means. I want to get a job so that I can get some money coming in right now in order to help support and take care of my family. I need to. It’s not even a want, however, once I can make money from my blog or niche websites I decide to get set up I will then quit my day job. Well, I might, depending on where it is I end up working and how well I like it but my goal is to become a full time professional blogger and I know with enough effort, passion, hard work, learning, managing risk and learning from my mistakes, I can damn well do it too!

3. Why not? I would like to get out there and see what is offered and what opportunities await me because I took a chance. Something bad could happen but I’ll never know of the good that could happen if I never get out there and just go for it. Gotta just go for it and I need to get myself to doing that.

4. Well, kinda four. I want to be rich. No, I don’t have a plan (yet, still, I know, I know, I need to get one) but I want to be rich in ways of my life and my family and money. I want freedom that money gives you and I want to be able to do things that others just aren’t able to do because they didn’t take risks and see how to manage those and learn from what the outcomes were.

What does everyone think of those ideas? I’m serious too, what does everyone think?

Brother I think you touch on some excellent points here man I think getting sorted first before you go at it full time is extremely good idea especially with your family growing. Brother you have seriously kept your head in the right place despite being pulled in a thousand different directions.

Great guns man, seriously offer if you need any help give me a shout

For me the direction isn’t what is important.

For me it’s about expanding your comfort zones. You need to be constantly expanding your comfort zones and not be afraid grow and develop. Lots of people don’t change or expand because they are afraid of being rejected or failing.

But when you expand a comfort zone you growth and you can not shrink. You only get better.
