Who Wants To Work Together?

by theinfopreneur on February 21, 2010

This is an open invitation to see who wants to work together, it could be a project you have in mind or a collaboration or as simple as needed some advice or guidance, whether you need more eyes on a product or the driving force behind it. What ever it is, leave a comment here of contact me via the contact page.

  • Why?

So why should we work with others? A variety of different reasons, it could be to earn a passive income or as simple as boosting your own profile by working with someone stronger or in a different market to you. Think of this as an alternative to affiliate marketing, by working with others we increase our reach and potentially our income.

So what ever it is, if you want to work with me on something, no matter how small just shout, I’m not saying I’ll agree to everything but I’m the one who is taking the first step so I do want to work with you.

So leave a comment tell your friends and or send me an email.

Hi Jame’s, Just now as I write, I am in the process of re-establishing my blog. I have five new posts waiting to write, and yes at long last my own work and not a re-post or snippet. I am upgrading my home pc now and getting ready to work hard. Back to using my own domain, all fresh and new and I think you will see the new improved me ;) I would still like for you to do a guest post once I am up and running. I need a new blog name, finding the right one is proving difficult so any suggestion’s will be more than welcome.

Sorry James, I misunderstood your post. I thought you were recruiting people for a group project.

Right now I do need any help. But, looking forward for your guest post at TT :)

How about we as a group get together are write a book. Each contributor writing a chapter. A book on blogging, social media, internet marketing… basically a book for Online Success.

This way each of us can give our best.

Shall we do such a group project? 20 to 25 people contributing a chapter each.

What do others think of this idea?

Hey James,

I have a couple things I could definitely use help on. I’d like to switch over to wordpress.org and do all the cool stuff the good guys do (its just finding what they did that takes a ton of time as beginner). I could also use your advice on a lot of the fine details of other traffic driving tools. Let me know if this is too primitive for you. If you want to work on something cool you can benefit from too that’d fun.

As I was reading this I wasn’t quite sure what I could use your help on but I just thought of something, if you wouldn’t mind.

I’ve been sick the last couple of days so I really haven’t been out there on the blogosphere as I normally was. My lack of being on has caused some down fall on my site and I admit that’s my fault completely.

What help I could use is getting bold and getting threaded comments to work in my current theme if possible. If things don’t work out, I do have a plan to switch over to a new theme here very soon. I mentioned that on my site in a comment to you. Things will happen fast either way.

Let me know what you think?

James,

I registered a domain last year – socialized.biz, with the intent of pulling together a bunch of resources from the web to help the SMB market figure out how to use social tools to enable and expand their business. To date, I haven’t done really anything with it. Sort of like writer’s block – just can’t seem to get started.

My vision for the site is to have a bunch of tutorials (written and video) that will educate SMB’s on the various social tools such as Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, Google Local (for storefronts/services) etc… In addition to education, it would have how-to’s, expert opinions, case studies and a forum for q&a. I envision a combination of free and paid content along with a weekly or monthly newsletter for hot new topics.

The site would also showcase technology products to help SMB’s be more efficient and save costs (think VOIP, Open Source software solutions, web tools, etc…).

In addition, I would like for the site to have directories of LOCAL resources – basically, consultants and/or businesses that can be enlisted at the local level to help SMB’s actually implement stuff that may be too technical or time consuming for their skill level.

At first, I would not be a creator of much of this material, but more of an aggregator of existing material – relying heavily on other experts to guest post, link to articles, etc…

I’m a techie – don’t need much help with setting up the plumbing. I’m comfortable with programming, affiliate marketing, social tools themselves and many software packages. I’m not good at marketing though and I certainly am not a graphic designer. I think the biggest thing is to just get it started. I think it needs visual help and layout, from which we can start adding content.

If you or anyone who visits your site is interested in helping, let me know. Open to ideas on how to share revenue.

Finally, I just stumbled upon your blog via BloggerIllustrated this weekend. Enjoyed reading some of your material and also some of your “unofficial mentors” sites. I applaud you for your passion and energy!

Regards,

Michael
