James, I saw your guest post on David Risley and decided to come here. That post and this one caught my eye because I was once a soldier too.

All the things you said about the different ranks is something that I can easily relate to. In fact, the rank I am still holding is 3rd Sergeant.

I must admit that, just like you, I learned a lot about life and how to deal with people because I was once in the army. I must thank the army for that.

I believe that we all have to be a bit of every rank in order to be balance. Being on a single rank only blurs our view of the big picture. In real life though, most people occupy one rank. And this makes them blind to see what is.
