The Fight in The Tiger

by theinfopreneur on December 18, 2009

It’s not the tiger in the fight, it’s the fight in the tiger. I first heard this while I was in basic training in the military and to this day I live my life by it.

  • Trapped

Nothing fights more than a cornered tiger. That tiger will fight and destroy anything in its path. If you are cornered in your market place you have to fight yourself out of it, no one will help you. It all comes down to how much you want your website to survive. Get out of the corner and control the eJungle.

  • Necessity

If you have a comfortable job that you can put up with and pays well, you don’t really worry about finding the money to pay your bills etc that’s great. At this time of the year it’s a privileged position to be in, but think why did you start your website? Was it just so you can have you own little piece of the internet, or was it started with a dream?

A dream that one day you will be able to work for yourself, spend all day with your family and take them on those fantastic holidays every year. A dream that is paid for by your website. Make that dream a reality, go and get it, never ever give up.

  • Never

I make no secret of being brought up as a children in the gutter. It’s a place I have vowed never to return. If you have ever experienced a time when you had that thought ‘never again’ then use that to fuel your passion. Don’t just have a hobby website, get in the fight and make sure your path never goes back on it’s self.

Whether it be prison, addiction, financial broke or if you have never had that break, use that feeling to make sure you get so far away from those situations it becomes another person’s memories.

  • Love

My family mean more than anything to me and as every father and husband on the planet, I would move mountains for them. I am moving them right now, by publishing this site, I am one step closer to my dream.

Think about your own site, whether it be a direct sales or a technology reveiw site, every time you get a sale or publish a new article it’s one step closer to your target. Every journey starts with one small step.

Nice analogy with the tiger.

I’m the same. I’m fighting hard on my blogging journey too. 2009 has been the year my was blog was born and was an infant.

I’m making 2010 the year my blog hits puberty.
